On the other hand, the idea of sharing it with more children emerged from this family project. Since our children will be able to know new realities, why not give the opportunity to know our experience and to be able to participate in it, to other children with different cultures. Thus an educational project was devised together with the schools of Santa Maria de Palautordera, including the Matagalls school, which our children attended before leaving. The project has been gradually defined and growing. So we decided to establish ourselves as a recently created NGO, Educaction that aims to improve and expand students' knowledge about the different cultures and realities that exist in the world.

On the other hand we are working on microprojects that are emerging as we contact communities with scarce resources and where action is necessary.

Tell us a little about your background. Were you employed? Do you have a fixed / own residence in Barcelona?

We met in Tanzania working on a Health Project with the organization Doctors Without Borders. Ángel has always worked in the world of international cooperation, a labor field that he considers fascinating and from which he says he has learned everything he knows, in addition to giving him the opportunity to grow as a person. He considers himself a citizen of the world, a world that always offers him to learn a little more about himself and his surroundings. In the future who knows, if all goes well, will continue to work in the NGO Educaction, in the microprojects that are emerging trying to contribute our grain of sand.

Diana has worked as a pediatric nurse practically since she finished her training. His work is passionate and considers the world of children, without a doubt, exciting. This past year he finished his degree in Psychology and in the future he would like to work in the field of child and family psychology. Regarding children, both Ishi and Noa are full of that vitality characteristic of their world. At the moment enjoying what they are and absorbing each experience as sponges, giving us that special wisdom and giving us much, much love.

We live in Santa María de Palautordera, a beautiful town at the foot of the Montseny, half an hour from Barcelona. We have our own residence, and we both worked full time, despite the fact that Angel had left his permanent job as head of purchasing and procurement at the Barcelona headquarters of Doctors Without Borders in order to prepare the trip and project.
