On the second day we went with a van to take a tour of the Bokor National Park. An immense expanse of jungle where tigers, elephants, pythons and cobras inhabit. Luckily or bad luck we saw nothing but mosquitoes, a spectacular waterfall and a ruined tourism area of the French colonial era whose grand hotel gave the gloomy feeling of emerging from Stephen King's Shining over 1000 meters high between the jungle. The most spectacular part of the trip was the 40 km of forest tracks in the back of the van, open and falling sky and an incredible water stream!
Upon reaching the town again we went for a walk and ate a crab whose legs protruded from the plate for just a couple of dollars. Thai and Cambodian cuisine are wonderful and if I start to tell it, it would take up one more page in this blog, so better leave it for another day ...
